when i download firmware its just a file i put it on my ipod but once i get to the first part where you use redsn0w i can go any farther because it wont let me use firmwire. how do i get the right one. ( i downloaded 4.0.2 and 4.0)
I have an iPod Touch 2G MC model and it says that RedSn0w doesnt work for MC models with 4.0.2……i thought this vid would help jailbreak an iPod Touch MC model with 4.0.2…….is there any way i can jailbreak it?

You will have to download the 4.0 ipsw, and use that one instead of 4.0.2.

it saids “unable to recognize specified ipsw” when i browse my 4.0.2 firmware PLZ HELP!!
