I am okay with the ‘sj’ sound (I prefer the aspriated ‘h’ sound over the ‘sh’ sound)…most of the time…words like ‘sjuk’ though with a deep sound in the throat are impossible for non-natives ._.

Yes. I believe that’s correct. It’s tricky with these things, I think – Even for a Swede like myself sometimes. I guess I’m not the most clever one
@howtoteachers I think it depends on whether it’s a common or neuter noun that it is describing, because adjectives have to match the noun’s gender just like in Spanish, and my/mine is an adjective.
the mitt is used when it’s an -ett noun and min is used when it’s an -en noun, at least that’s what I think … I’m just a n00b to the whole language.
I really do not know how to explain grammar like this. This confuses me, too. It kind of scares me getting questions like this, I wish to give an awesome explaination but I don’t know. Do you have an iPod Touch or iPod Touch? I explain grammar in the application.
